Based on an audience study performed by the Romanian Audiovisual Authority, Alfa Omega TV is rated 19th among the most watched Romanian channels, being on the Audiovisual Authority’s “must-carry” list for cable networks.

Alfa Omega Tv se doreste a fi o alternativa in peisajul audiovizual romanesc, iar acest sondaj confirma dorinta romanilor de a urmari un alt fel de programe decat cele transmise in mod curent la televizor.

We were blessed to see that our channel became an integral part of Romanians' lives, as by God's grace, we strive to become a relevant Christian alternative for the Romanian population.

Also, the "must-carry" recommendation opened new doors with cable operators and other networks that were previously unaccesible.

We’ve experienced an unprecedented growth in Alfa Omega TV channel’s impact in Romania, Moldavia and Romanian communities in Europe. Many cable and IPTV networks introduced Alfa Omega TV following the Romanian Audiovisual Authority's "must-carry" recommendation.

AOTV in Bucharest via cable

We were happy to penetrate the cable market of Bucharest – UPC Romania, one of the two major cable networks introduced the Alfa Omega TV channel in the Romanian capital, as well as several other cities in Romania, thus increasing our potential audience by several hundred thousand households.

We’ve increased the number of local secular TV stations we work with. We now provide hundreds of hours of Christian programs to 42 secular TV stations in Romania and Republic of Moldova, with a potential audience of 2-3 million.

In October 2010, we launched a second TV channel – Alfa Omega TV International – a discipleship/teaching channel focusing on Christians. This channel will also serve as a key vehicle for programs in other Eastern European languages, to support Christian media ministries in the surrounding countries.

We’ve redesigned our site, also adding many media elements and videos, leading to an increase in website traffic. We’ve also seen a growth of resources for equipping the Body of Christ (TV teaching series, DVD distribution, publishing, online bookstore, video on demand, media partner for significant events).

Alfa Omega TV - Anniversary

In summer 2010, Alfa Omega TV celebrated 4 years of being on air 24/7; we also celebrated 16 years of serving God in the Romanian media. We were happy to celebrate this event with our closest collaborators.
