Alfa Omega TV: Why Do We Choose to Pray and Minister

We see that people have an acute need for prayer, and we want to serve them by meeting their needs. Annually, we receive over 5,000 prayer requests. Here are the main areas of need: physical & emotional healing, deliverance, salvation, support in family, sexuality, and finance-related issues. Also, tens of thousands anonymously access our content online, addressing delicate aspects. We value people’s trust in us. We believe in the power of God, we pray with those in need, we help with media resources and advice, we connect people to mature Christians or local churches in their area for counseling or integration. We also produce programs and media resources answering people’s specific needs.

AND THIS IS HOW WE DO IT

Praying live

Since 2011, we produce weekly live shows with on-air prayer for the needs of the viewers - airing live on TV and online. Guests present biblical practical truths, answer questions from the audience and pray for the needs sent live by our viewers. Program topics include: healing, deliverance, restoring broken relationships, emotional healing, sexual addictions. Testimonies that come reflect changed lives and the fact that these programs have a real impact.

Providing personal ministry

Annually, over 5,000 people trust us with their problems, asking for our help by calling our daily prayer line, calling during the live shows, writing to us via email, chat, Facebook, or text messages. We pray with them for their problems, we offer resources containing solutions to their problems. Should someone need special personal ministry, we connect them to someone in our network of Christian counselors or local churches, to help them further in their restoration process.

Offering anonymous online support

Often, some problems or addictions can be difficult to speak about, even when the situation is critical. Shame can prevent or delay much-needed ministry. To address delicate aspects that are hard to open up about, we develop videos, articles, and testimonies, publishing them on all our media channels. We pray for divine guidance, and also permanently analyze our stats, to know what taboo subjects to address next.
